FAQ

Common questions about how AIDOS works.

Is AIDOS a bank?

No. It is a protocol offering banking-like features through a self-custodial wallet and licensed partners. AIDOS never touches your funds.

Privacy with a debit card?

The card sees only the merchant, the amount, and that funds exist. Your balance, history, and portfolio stay shielded. See the Aidos App spend flow.

Can the team see my agent’s strategy?

No. It runs in an Intel TDX TEE; code, state, and keys never leave the enclave, and you can confirm this by attestation. See Aidos Agent.

Is this Tornado Cash 2.0?

No. Tornado Cash was a mixer. AIDOS is a full banking protocol with privacy by default and compliance tools that work with regulation, via selective disclosure.

Why Solana?

400 ms finality, $0.00025 fees, and a maturing privacy stack (Helius/Light ZK, Arcium MPC, PrivacyCash). See Architecture.

What if my agent goes rogue?

It cannot. The TEE guarantees it runs your exact code; tampering changes the attestation and alerts you. You can also set hard limits and drawdown pauses.

When can I use it?

The Aidos App and Agent are in build; the Darkpool and SDK are planned. Track delivery on the Roadmap and the Changelog.
